Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Camden Fairview Cardinals (Camden, AR), 76-71 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hope upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Magnolia (Magnolia, AR) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region 7 bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 12-1. Magnolia won 80-47 in their recent league bout against Nashville (Nashville, AR)

Next up, the Cardinals play the De Queen Leopards (De Queen, AR) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Camden Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 55-43 league win over Ashdown (Ashdown, AR).
