Herkimer Magicians (Herkimer, NY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Canastota Red Raiders (Canastota, NY), 69-51 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Herkimer improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Magicians host Adirondack (Boonville, NY) to confront the Wildcats in a Section 3 Center State II challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-13.

Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Little Falls Mounties (Little Falls, NY) in a Section 3 Center State I challenge, on Friday, January 26. Canastota will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
