North Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Hatteras knocked off by Ocracoke

The Ocracoke Dolphins basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Cape Hatteras Hurricanes to 41 in the Dolphins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dolphins now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hobgood Charter for a 1A Atlantic 5 contest on Thursday, January 25. Ocracoke will battle a Raiders team coming off a 41-39 league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 6-6.

The Hurricanes (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia (Columbia, NC). The Wildcats enter the 1A Atlantic 5 contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Columbia ran past Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC), 58-51, in a league contest.
