The Carney-Nadeau Wolves (Carney, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI), 45-42 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Trojans go into the Central Upper Peninsula test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Forest Park got by North Dickinson (Felch, MI), 77-40, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Rapid River for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Superior Central will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 67-26 league loss to Stephenson (Stephenson, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 5-11.
