In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN), by a margin of 110-52.

The Panthers (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Blackduck (Blackduck, MN). The Drakes go into the A Section 8 outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Blackduck was trounced by Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN), 70-55, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to St. John's Prep for a A Section 5 outing on Thursday, January 25. Laporte will clash with a Johnnies squad coming off a 87-49 non-league loss to Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Johnnies record now stands at 2-10.
