Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 63-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Huffman upgrades its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 19-5. Vestavia Hills won 56-52 in their recent league bout against Thompson (Alabaster, AL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Center Point will attempt to upgrade on its 0-22 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 83-73 non-league win over Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL).
