Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI), 65-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mancelona upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI) to play the Cardinals in a Ski-Valley bout on Thursday, January 25. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-12. Johannesburg-Lewiston lost 70-42 in their recent league bout against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI)

Next up, the Trojans play the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Central Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 64-36 non-league loss to Brethren (Brethren, MI).
