The Villa Rica Wildcats basketball team (Villa Rica, GA), was routed 91-63 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA)
The Panthers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, January 26. Chapel Hill will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 84-62 league win over Banneker (College Park, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-2.
The Wildcats (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA). The Lions come into the AAAAA Region 5 match with a 10-9 record. In their last match, Lithia Springs crushed Midtown (Atlanta, GA), 56-50, in a league match.
