Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cossatot River Eagles (Cove, AR), 61-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Charleston upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Two Rivers (Ola, AR) to play the Gators in a 3A Region 4 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Two Rivers won 55-36 in their recent league bout against Paris (Paris, AR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 26. Cossatot River will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 53-47 league win over Booneville (Booneville, AR).
