With the victory, R-S Central improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to confront the Bearcats in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Hendersonville lost 65-56 in their recent league challenge against Patton (Morganton, NC)

Next up, the Trojans confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Chase will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 72-62 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC).
