With the victory, Cherokee Washington upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA) to play the Midgets in a Lakes bout on Friday, January 26. The Midgets come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Estherville Lincoln Central won 72-54 in their recent league bout against Spencer (Spencer, IA)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Spencer Tigers (Spencer, IA) in a Lakes bout, on Monday, January 29. Storm Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 66-59 league loss to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA).
