Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Trinity at Meadow View Tempest (Falls Church, VA), 48-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Christ Chapel Academy upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The travel to Calvary Temple (Sterling, VA) to clash with the in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 26. The go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Calvary Temple lost 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against BOLCA Prep (Daytona Beach, FL)
Next up, the Tempest clash with the King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA) in a VISAA Division III bout, on Thursday, January 25. Trinity at Meadow View will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 86-32 non-league win over Ad Fontes Academy (Centreville, VA).
