University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cindy Avitia Jaguars (San Jose, CA), 69-24 in a league bout.

With the win, University Prep Academy upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Basis Independent Silicon Valley won 83-40 in their recent non-league bout against Apostles Lutheran (Santa Clara, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions (San Jose, CA) in a Private School - South bout, on Thursday, January 25. Cindy Avitia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 70-54 league win over Summit Tahoma (San Jose, CA).
