Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM), 76-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Legacy Academy upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Silverbacks travel to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Eagle in a A District 7 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Eagle go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy lost 62-52 in their recent non-league bout against Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM) in a A District 7 bout, on Saturday, January 27. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 71-35 non-league loss to Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM).
