Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harry S. Truman Tigers (Levittown, PA), 57-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Council Rock North upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Indians travel to North Penn (Lansdale, PA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-9. North Penn won 53-41 in their recent league bout against Pennridge (Perkasie, PA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Pennsbury Falcons (Fairless Hills, PA) in a Suburban One - Patriot bout, on Friday, January 26. Harry S. Truman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 53-51 league win over Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA).
