Illinois High School Basketball - Neoga can't hold off Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City

The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Neoga Indians to 49 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 81-75 non-league win over St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-4.

The Indians (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The enter the non-league contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg was nudged by Altamont (Altamont, IL), 71-44, in a non-league contest.
