The Davenport Gorillas basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Reardan Screaming Eagles to 50 in the Gorillas league victory on Tuesday.

The Gorillas now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. George's for a 2B Bi-County contest on Friday, January 26. Davenport will battle a Dragons team coming off a 50-47 league win over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Dragons record now stands at 13-5.

The Screaming Eagles (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Cougars come into the 2B Bi-County contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Chewelah was nudged by Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA), 78-57, in a league contest.
