With the victory, Destrehan upgrades its record to 1-21 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hahnville (Boutte, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 7 bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 14-10.

Next up, the Tigers play the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a 5A District 7 bout, on Friday, January 26. Thibodaux will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 60-51 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA).
