Tewksbury Memorial Redmen (Tewksbury, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA), 52-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tewksbury Memorial upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Redmen host North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 2-9. North Middlesex Regional lost 64-49 in their recent league bout against Westborough (Westborough, MA)

Next up, the Middies play the Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA) in a Merrimack Valley - Small bout, on Thursday, January 25. Dracut will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 77-71 league win over Haverhill (Haverhill, MA).
