The Dunlap Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Limestone Rockets to 56 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Peoria for a Mid-Illini contest on Friday, January 26. Dunlap will meet a Raiders team coming off a 64-57 non-league loss to Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 11-12.
The Rockets (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers enter the Chicago Public - Blue South game with a 10-11 record. In their last game, Washington lost by Pekin (Pekin, IL), 49-41, in a non-league game.
