Ohio High School Basketball - Leetonia nipped by East Palestine

January 23, 2024: East Palestine, OH 44413

The East Palestine Bulldogs tipped the visiting Leetonia Bears basketball team by a final score of 59-54 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) in a Eastern Ohio game, on Friday, January 26. East Palestine will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 1-15 record after their 72-38 league loss to United (Hanoverton, OH).

With the defeat, Leetonia moves to 3-15 on the year. The Bears host David Anderson (Lisbon, OH) to face the Blue Devils in a Eastern Ohio game on Friday, January 26. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 12-2. David Anderson won 51-37 in their recent league game against Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH)
