The Edgewood Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Ross Rams to 53 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Edgewood will battle a Patriots team coming off a 59-53 league win over Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 8-7.

The Rams (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, OH). The Wildcats enter the Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Franklin nudged Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH), 61-52, in a league contest.
