The Griswold Grizzlies basketball team (Helix, OR), was overwhelmed 53-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR)
The Huskies now possess a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Friday, January 26. Elgin will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 67-54 league loss to Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-6.
The Grizzlies (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Old Oregon battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Nixyaawii Community trounced Union (Union, OR), 67-54, in a league battle.
