With the victory, South Stokes improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Sauras host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to confront the Rams in a 1A Northwest challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Starmount won 56-49 in their recent league challenge against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)

Next up, the Buckin' Elks confront the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a 1A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Elkin will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Granite Bears come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 64-60 league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC).
