Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Spencer Tigers (Spencer, IA), 72-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Estherville Lincoln Central upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Midgets host Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA) to play the Braves in a Lakes bout on Friday, January 26. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Cherokee Washington won 67-65 in their recent league bout against Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Spirit Lake Indians (Spirit Lake, IA) in a Lakes bout, on Thursday, January 25. Spencer will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 79-59 non-league win over Worthington (Worthington, MN).
