With the victory, Fairfield upgrades its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Central (Phenix City, AL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 24-5.

The Spartans now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Wenonah for a 5A Area 9 test on Friday, January 26. Pleasant Grove will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 77-74 league win over John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons record now stands at 10-14.
