North Carolina High School Basketball - Monroe routs Forest Hills

In Tuesday's league outing, the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), by a margin of 76-49.

The Redhawks (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats go into the 2A/3A Rocky River outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Anson was trounced by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 89-82, in a league outing.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Parkwood for a 2A/3A Rocky River outing on Friday, January 26. Forest Hills will encounter a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 58-27 league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 11-6.
