The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 101 points and held the host Forestburg Longhorns to 43 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie Valley for a 1A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, January 26. Slidell will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-58 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-19.

The Longhorns (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Midway (Henrietta, TX). The Falcons enter the 1A Region III District 22 match with a 2-20 record. In their last match, Midway was ripped by Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX), 36-34, in a league match.
