The Sterling City Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Forsan Buffaloes to 28 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 26. Sterling City will meet a Eagles team coming off a 47-33 league win over Christoval (Christoval, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 16-11.

The Buffaloes (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX). The Owls enter the 2A Region I District 7 contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Reagan County ran past Sonora (Sonora, TX), 76-53, in a league contest.
