The Gladewater Bears basketball team (Gladewater, TX), was toppled 51-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Daingerfield for a 3A Region II District 15 battle on Friday, January 26. New Diana will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-46 league loss to Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
The Bears (3-20) will now prepare for their battle against White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Roughnecks come into the 3A Region II District 15 battle with a 7-19 record. In their last battle, White Oak was toppled by Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX), 37-29, in a league battle.
