The Gladstone Braves basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Ishpeming Hematites to 31 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Braves now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menominee for a Great Northern U.P. battle on Friday, January 26. Gladstone will battle a Maroons team coming off a 71-61 league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 9-3.

The Hematites (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Munising (Munising, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Munising prevailed over Newberry (Newberry, MI), 51-29, in a non-league battle.
