Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC), 72-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Seaforth upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Hawks host Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to play the Stallions in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout on Thursday, January 25. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Southeast Alamance lost 74-36 in their recent league bout against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Graham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Jets go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 62-59 league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
