Utah High School Basketball - Hunter thwarts Granger

The Hunter Wolverines (West Valley City, UT) basketball knocked off the visiting Granger Lancers (West Valley City, UT), 81-64 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wolverines (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Kearns (Kearns, UT). The Cougars go into the 5A Region 4 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Kearns notched a victory over Cyprus (Magna, UT), 55-54, in a league test.

The Lancers now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Taylorsville for a 5A Region 4 test on Friday, January 26. Granger will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 71-53 league loss to Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 5-9.
