California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon thwarts Granite Hills

January 23, 2024: El Cajon, CA 92019

The Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) basketball knocked off the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), 68-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (11-12) will now prepare for their test against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, St. Augustine notched a victory over San Diego (San Diego, CA), 70-42, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Valhalla for a Grossmont - Valley test on Friday, January 26. Granite Hills will encounter a Norsemen squad coming off a 64-58 league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 6-16.
