Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Chicago Warhawks (North Chicago, IL), 59-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Grant Community upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Bulldogs host Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL) to clash with the Rams in a Northern Lake County bout on Friday, January 26. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Grayslake Central won 50-41 in their recent league bout against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL)

Next up, the Warhawks clash with the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a Northern Lake County bout, on Friday, January 26. North Chicago will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Sequoits go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 63-50 league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL).
