The Santana Sultans basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Grossmont Foothillers to 37 in the Sultans league victory on Tuesday.

The Sultans now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Capitan for a Grossmont - Hills contest on Friday, January 26. Santana will battle a Vaqueros team coming off a 69-61 league loss to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 16-7.

The Foothillers (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Braves come into the Grossmont - Hills contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, El Cajon Valley was routed by Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 67-39, in a league contest.
