With the victory, South Greene improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host West Greene (Mosheim, TN) to play the Buffaloes in a 2A District 1 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 2-14. West Greene lost 69-65 in their recent league challenge against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) in a 2A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Hampton will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 52-49 league win over Johnson County (Mountain City, TN).
