The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abbeville for a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. Vermilion Catholic will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-55 league win over Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-17.

The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA). The Bears come into the 1A District 7 battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, Highland Baptist Christian dropped by Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA), 66-33, in a league battle.
