The Surgeons now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host King-Chavez Community for a Pioneer battle on Thursday, January 25. Health Sciences will confront a Lions team coming off a 35-6 league loss to San Diego Academy (National City, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.

The Lions (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA). The Redhawks come into the Pioneer battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Mountain Empire trounced San Diego Academy (National City, CA), 43-33, in a league battle.
