The Hesperia Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Walkerville Wildcats to 50 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orchard View for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Hesperia will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 74-23 league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-10.
The Wildcats (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, MI). The Eagles enter the West Michigan D contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Marion ran past Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI), 35-34, in a non-league contest.
