The Highmore/Harrold Pirates basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting James Valley Christian Vikings to 53 in the Pirates non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ipswich for a B Region 6 contest on Saturday, January 27. Highmore/Harrold will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-43 league win over Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 10-4.

The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Miller (Miller, SD). The Rustlers come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Miller was nudged by McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD), 54-39, in a league contest.
