Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH), 62-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hiland upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 12-2.

Next up, the Generals play the Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH) in a Inter-Valley bout, on Friday, January 26. Ridgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 45-42 league win over Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH).
