Rush City Tigers (Rush City, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars (Hinckley, MN), 55-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rush City upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] won 53-33 in their recent non-league bout against Floodwood (Floodwood, MN)

Next up, the Jaguars play the East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Hinckley-Finlayson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 77-34 non-league win over Braham (Braham, MN).
