In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions (Roopville, GA) basketball squad beat the host Praise Academy Lions (Powder Springs, GA), by a count of 43-35.
The Stallions (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against Hearts Academy (Powder Springs, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league bout with a 2-17 record. In their last bout, Hearts Academy was dropped by CrossPointe Christian Academy (Williamson, GA), 62-56, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Lions play the Excel Christian Academy Eagles (Cartersville, GA) in a GAPPS - I-A Region 1A bout, on Thursday, January 25.
