Honey Grove Warriors (Honey Grove, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wolfe City Wolves (Wolfe City, TX), 52-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Honey Grove upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Celeste (Celeste, TX) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 2A Region II District 14 bout on Friday, January 26. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Celeste lost 52-50 in their recent league bout against Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Bland Tigers (Merit, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 bout, on Friday, January 26. Wolfe City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-19 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 14-13 record after their 59-37 league win over Trenton (Trenton, TX).
