With the victory, Iron Mountain improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Westwood (Ishpeming, MI) to confront the Patriots in a Western Peninsula challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Miners confront the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula challenge, on Friday, January 26. Negaunee will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Emeralds come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Pickford (Pickford, MI).
