James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), 75-64 in a league bout.

With the win, James Kenan upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to play the Panthers in a 2A East Central bout on Friday, January 26. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-13. East Duplin lost 80-46 in their recent league bout against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a 2A East Central bout, on Thursday, January 25. Wallace-Rose Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Stallions go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 80-46 league win over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
