Texas High School Basketball - John Paul II can't hold off Trinity Christian

The Trinity Christian Trojans basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting John Paul II Cardinals to 48 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Central Texas Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Trinity Christian will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Dallas HSAA Red (Plano, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-10.
The Cardinals (20-8) will now prepare for their contest against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX). The Panthers enter the TAPPS 6A District 1 contest with a 22-8 record. In their last contest, Parish Episcopal nudged Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX), 71-55, in a league contest.
