Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA), saw Johnson's basketball squad wallop Savannah Christian by a count of 69-43.

With the victory, Johnson upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Atomsmashers host Long County (Ludowici, GA) to play the Blue Tide in a AAA Region 3 challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Blue Tide come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Long County won 85-81 in their recent league challenge against Groves (Garden City, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Savannah Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 69-21 league loss to Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA).
