In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN) basketball squad edged the host Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), by a count of 83-81.
The Knights (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN). The Lions go into the A Section 1 outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Schaeffer Academy held off Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN), 60-55, in a league outing.
The Cobras now hold a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Medford for a non-league outing on Friday, January 26. Triton will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 80-17 non-league loss to Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
